1. These terms

These terms govern your use of zulutalk.com, operated by Thanaaya Technologies, Office 2106-B40, Westburry Tower 1, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern the ZuluTalk software. The software is covered by its license (section 3).

2. Who we are

Thanaaya Technologies is an establishment licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism under professional licence 964356 (federal unified licence BL1484), established in 2021.

3. The software license

The ZuluTalk app is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3. It is based on Linphone by Belledonne Communications, which is licensed under the same terms. The GPL decides your rights in the software. Nothing in these terms limits them. You may use, study, copy, change and share ZuluTalk under the GPL, including for commercial purposes, as long as you keep to its conditions.

4. No warranty

As stated in sections 15 and 16 of the GPL, ZuluTalk is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Not a phone service

ZuluTalk is software. It does not include a phone number, calling plan or connection to the public telephone network. Do not rely on it for emergency calls. Some countries restrict or license internet calling. You are responsible for using ZuluTalk, and any SIP service you connect it to, in line with the law where you are.

6. Linphone and Belledonne Communications

"Linphone" and "Belledonne Communications" belong to Belledonne Communications. We use them only to identify the origin of ZuluTalk. ZuluTalk is not affiliated with, endorsed or supported by Belledonne Communications. Questions about ZuluTalk go to us, not to them.

7. The ZuluTalk name and logo

The ZuluTalk name and logo identify our version of the software. You may use them to refer to ZuluTalk. If you publish a modified version, please give it a different name so people can tell the two apart. The GPL allows this request (section 7(e)), and it does not restrict your rights to the code.

8. Website content

The text and design of this website belong to us. You may read and share it. You may not republish it as your own.

9. Third-party links

We link to sites we do not control, including GitHub and linphone.org. We are not responsible for their content, availability or handling of your data.

10. Availability

We aim to keep this site and the downloads available but do not guarantee it. We may change or withdraw any part without notice.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude liability for any loss arising from use of this website or the software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
